About the New England Addictions Prevention and Recovery Team (APART):

The purpose of the New England Addictions Prevention and Recovery Team (APART) is to serve as a bridge builder between church and society in the areas of outreach, education, teaching and spiritual growth in relation to recovery from addictions and compulsions.

The team is available to visit your church. Team members can deliver the Sunday message and/or can also design a workshop according to the needs of your congregation.  The workshops could include:

  • The nature of addiction
  • The recovery process
  • Developing a common language of spirituality and recovery
  • Ways to help your church become open and hospitable to recovering people
  • Developing effective prevention strategies in your congregation

Please contact: Phil McClintock at 295-6214 or philipmcclintock@aol.com for more information or to schedule a workshop at your church.
