Lay Speaking - RIM

Each course will meet on five Mondays:

 

Location: Cornerstone of Faith UMC; 1081 Main Street, Coventry, RI 02816 

Fee: $35.00 

 

 

The Lay Speaking Ministries Basic Course focuses on the many ways lay speakers are called to be in ministry. Completion of the Basic Course is required for Lay Speaker certification.

 

Registration ends one week prior to class starting. Course materials will be mailed to you. Courses can be taken for sheer interest and not for certification; however, registration is still required. Some scholarships are available.

 

Fees: Basic Refresher Course is $25.00. All other courses are $35.00 per person, which includes materials. (Please read the first week's session to prepare for the opening class, and bring Bible, book(s), and writing materials.)
